Born and raised in Charlotte, I bring a lifetime of lived experience and a deep commitment to the communities that shaped me. I’m not a career politician, I’m a neighbor, a facilitator, and a bridge-builder. My approach is rooted in real conversations, shared struggles, and bold ideas that center people over profit.
For too long, decisions about our neighborhoods have been made without us. I believe we need more than just policies, we need heart, integrity, and action grounded in the everyday realities of working families, elders, and youth.
I know firsthand that when we come together, across differences and with purpose, we can create solutions that uplift us all.
“I believe in making space for heartfelt moments that inspire and bring hope, especially in uncertain times. Our city deserves leadership that listens, learns, and leads with care."

I’ve dedicated my life to advocating for communities like Hidden Valley, where the strength of our people far outshines the resources we’ve been given. I don’t just attend meetings, I organize them. I don’t wait to be invited to the table, I bring my own and make room for others.
As Chair of the Historic Hidden Valley Precinct #82 of the Mecklenburg County Democratic Party, I’ve worked to mobilize voters and amplify the needs of historically ignored neighborhoods.
On the City of Charlotte’s Community Relations Committee, I help shape equitable policies that support safety, belonging, and justice for all. I also serve on the Business Advisory Committee for the City of Charlotte, where I advocate for inclusive economic strategies that prioritize community wealth, not just corporate profits.
Everything I do is grounded in the belief that leadership should reflect the people it serves. I’m running for City Council because I know what it means to live at the intersection of hope and hardship, and I’m committed to building a city where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
